Raianne watched him as he walked in and sat on the couch. She held back from hugging or kissing him some how finding the willpower to do so. But her eyes never left him. She felt for lack of better word betrayed. She knew that was probably over dramatic but she really didn’t know how else to describe this feeling. She just wanted things to go back to normal. She was snapped from her thoughts as Ben held out the box of chocolates and photo. She took a look inside the chocolate noticing half of them melted and let out a soft laugh. Shaking her head she set them the smile not leaving. Then she looked at the picture which only caused her to smile more. She held the picture in her hand as she looked up at Ben again. “Come here” she said patting the spot next to her. When she sat down she took his hand and took a breath. “If I forgive you, forget this ever happened… will you at least try harder this time?Raianne wasn’t anywhere near surprised when she had heard of Ben’s unfaithfulness. But nevertheless it still stung to know he cheated. Raianne truly did like Ben, and even though she knew relationships were hard for him she thought he’d at least try a bit harder, and not just jump into bed with the the first sign if desperation he saw. But she had made many mistakes in her life so who was she to judge? And how could she not forgive him when this relationship meant so much? So she agreed to meet. She threw on and off the shoulder over size t-shirt that stopped just at her thighs and put her up in a ponytail. She sat in the living room waiting when she heard the door. Taking a breath she went and opened taking a moment to look at the boy before her. “You’re wet.” She stated simply before walking back into the house leaving the door open for him to follow inside.Ben was getting everything ready for his appointment with Raianne. He had asked for help but nobody had given him a good answer for giving her a surprise. Everybody talked about expensive restaurants and romantic gifts, nothing that Ben would ever do. Ben walked looking down all the way into her house. She didn’t seem too excited and joyful to see him so he guessed making up wouldn’t be something easy. It might be the most difficult thing he had ever done because, when did he have responsibilities before? Ben never had rules or obligations, he lived his life and nobody could say him anything, it was his law. He wasn’t used to commitment and it was a main point in a relationship. “It’s… Raining outside” Ben said, ruffling his wet curls. It was awkward, being in front of her but not being able to kiss her or hug her, it felt as if someone had built a heavy wall between them, and they were too weak to jump it. “I have something for you” Ben looked in his pockets, and picked the chocolates box, which would probably be already melted, and the old photo of the broken couple, the ink had ran over the faces and they were stained. “I’m sorry Raianne” He swallowed hard before start talking “I know I fucked up things but I really want to fix it because now I can’t live without you, you’re my world and I’m just a mess” Ben looked down, playing nervously with his sleeves “I need you Raianne Archibald” He finally said then a shiver ran down his spine, he was too frozen.
